WHO AM I ?
Howdy, this is Catalyst (aka. Aristarkh) and thanks for checking out my site!

I'm just another self-taught freelancer with a heart in art and motion graphics, but most of the time I prefer to keep it as a recreation and something to enjoy.
​
Other things I love are gacha, rhythm, and indie games, philosophy, sleeping, and memes.
As an otaku who is hyperfixated on idol bands and rhythm games, I took pride in being the person behind the table which focuses on niche fandoms that are rare to find at local cons. It always bring me much joy to see participants do a double take seeing Bandori and D4DJ merch at my table; the love and excitement we share for the series transcends the awkward barrier that segregates me from countless others in real life, and this kind of magic is something I can only experience at anime conventions doing what I love.

​For this very reason, my principle in creation is to draw only the things I like. My table may only appeal
to an arguably narrow demographic, but everything you see is created with my undying love for the
series and characters.

On April 2015, my 2-minute hand drawn animation achieved second place in the 25th Hubble Space Telescope anniversary contest (Ode to Hubble), held by the European Space Agency. It was awarded with an original solar array taken from the Hubble Space Telescope and became the proudest art moment of my life.
